SUMMARY:Take Back the Night: March and Rally
DESCRIPTION:Take Back the Night is celebrated around the world and Bowling Green has had their own march and rally since the 1980s. As the official Take Back the Night organizer\, Hope Harbor brings the community together to show support for survivors and recognize the ways we can end sexual violence. The event will begin at First Christian Church with tables of information about Hope Harbor and other community services\, face painting\, and handing out t-shirts. Speakers will explain Hope Harbor’s role in the community and the importance of supporting survivors. This event is open to anyone in the community and we will march a short distance around the downtown area\, returning to First Christian Church for a musical performance and moment of action. We ask everyone to join us at The A-Frame at 7:30pm for our Take Back the Late Night Benefit Show.

DESCRIPTION:This production will feature performers and original work highlighting their experiences through violence\, recovery\, empowerment\, and healing. Themes include race\, gender identity\, sexual violence\, body image\, body objectification\, and relationship violence. The event is held at WKU DSU Auditorium and Hope Harbor will be taking a $7 donation at the door from attendees. Doors will open at 6:30pm and the production will begin at 7pm. Baked goods will be sold for additional donations. Counselors will be available for anyone who may be triggered and upset by the content discussed. This is an official Sexual Assault Prevention Month event.

DESCRIPTION:What is Lorem Ipsum?\nLorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s\, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries\, but also the leap into electronic typesetting\, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages\, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. \nHere’s some link\nWhy do we use it?\nIt is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters\, as opposed to using ‘Content here\, content here’\, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text\, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years\, sometimes by accident\, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
