First Things First is a performance of original work benefiting Hope Harbor for Sexual Assault Prevention Month. Performers come from Bowling Green and WKU’s campus to share their poetry with themes of gender violence, body image, race, recovery, and healing. The audience will hear empowering stories with a thought-provoking message in hopes to end ALL violence in our community. This inclusive performance will have a $5 entry fee that will go to Hope Harbor. A bake sale will take place before the event. Doors open at 6pm and performance begins promptly at 7pm lasting between an hour to an hour and a half. The community performance will be at The A-Frame at 1229 Center Street. Students and community members are encouraged to attend!
