Annual Events

Volunteer

Hope Harbor’s services would not be possible without the assistance of dedicated volunteers lending their time and talents to assist survivors of sexual violence. There are a variety of ways someone may choose to volunteer and get involved with Hope Harbor including direct and indirect service, fundraising, gardening, and Board of Director membership.

Donate

The mission of Hope Harbor is to empower and support anyone impacted by sexual trauma. Unfortunately, sexual violence has an impact on each of us, our communities, friends, and families. We have a strong commitment to providing quality services to all survivors. Hope Harbor counts on your donations to help continue to enhance and improve our services including crisis intervention, counseling, and education and prevention.

Employment

Sexual Assault Prevention Month

Sexual assault and abuse is an epidemic that affects individuals and our community much more than most people realize.  Hope Harbor provides awareness and prevention programs throughout the year, but there is a concentration of events planned by Hope Harbor staff and community partners during April, Sexual Assault Prevention Month (SAPM).

Sexual Assault Interagency Council

The Barren River Area Sexual Assault Interagency Council works to strengthen the professional relationships among hospitals, law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and other community-based agencies in the Barren River Area Development District that work with survivors of sexual violence.
